Can you load client access onto the server and print through it?


I would assume so. I was hoping to avoid having to get the printer session

started, logged in, and ready when ever the server boots, but that is anoption.

Still hoping to find a more direct route, but right now that's my backup.
Will have limited time to get this going.

Need to print to an old Tally T6212 which is parallel attached to a
Win2000(?) server and same local lan with new i5.
Currently all the win desktop users can print to it.
I'm used to having an ip address and setup a remote print writer for
something like this only attached to a Jet Direct box.
This printer has no ip (but the Win server does).
Customer wants to leave printer attached as is (no new hardware).
i5 not setup yet, but need a plan.
