Not sure which version of WDSC you're using. In v6.0.1 you would display
the Remote Systems windows, expand the iSeries system, right click on
the "iSereis Objects" and select "Verify Connection...". It will open a
window that will not only verify the connection, but will also verify
that you have all of the correct PTFs.

We have not been using WDSc so this is a new situation. One of our
programmers reports that when he attempts to compile a program he gets an
error message, something very close to "PTF missing on server". Two weeks
ago I installed the last cumulative PTF package for V5R2 but (as
previously reported on this list) didn't know to install the HIPER and DB

Anyone familiar with this? Will the already planned HIPER/DB install fix
