I was in SLC last spring. I was shocked and disgusted to find TWO pieces of
litter on the downtown streets of that place ! ;-) Cleanest major city
I've ever seen.

I stayed at a hotel south of the city, 100 feet from the LRC station, and a
short 10 minute ride downtown.

Jon,

How did you get there? Fly to NYC, Newark, Philly, Baltimore? Some of
these places are great but they are either a very long cab/train/shuttle
ride or require a rental car.

Now, if you REALLY wanted a great place to conference and wanted it
close to an airport, you should look at Salt Lake City. We didn't have
the 2002 Winter Olympics there because we are "podunk capital of the
world". You gotta love this place. Great walking around city. Plenty
to do. Good restaurants. Theater. Few pan handlers. Clean. AND some
great micro brews. Like Wasatch Brew Pub's "Polygamy Porter" ("Take
some home to the wives.....")

Often overlooked but clean, affordable, and for those who want to be
adventurous, skiing, hiking, fishing, hang gliding, and casinos just 90
minutes away (for the Atlantic City experience).

I'd love it if we had a System i event or two here!
