We have been looking at SAN's (for our xSeries servers) and considered the 
iSeries option.  Since the disk is controlled by OS/400, doesn't this 
option ultimately mean that the disk is unavailable when you are doing 
things like applying PTF's or OS/400 upgrades?  That is what we concluded, 
so we are still focusing on the SAN option.  We have seen enough that we 
are not going to consider using the SAN for our iSeries disk storage 
though.
