Kenneth,

I think I may have found the problem. It was showing BRM1118 in the BRMS
Log. I tried recreating that using the CHKEXPBRM command and got the same
message for that control group. I put I's for the daily activity for all
days on that control group and re-tried the command. It completed
normally. I will try the actual backup again this Sunday. Thanks.

Are you seeing any error messages in the job log?

Are you quiescing your system prior to running this backup to insure you
are able to a "checkpoint" across ALL your user libraries? This isn't a
trivial thing. Your users will most likely be unable to use the system
for 20-30 minutes or more while this checkpoint is being established.

Subject: BRMS Incremental Backup

Recently we have had to change our backup schedule and can only
occasionally get a full BRMS system backup. What we have been trying to
set up for the interim is an *ALLUSR backup that is set up as a
Save-While-Active. This will be a cumulative backup only run on Sunday.
When we try running it, it only runs for a second and then it is
finished.
I am not sure why it is doing that. Can someone advise? Thanks. Here is
how we have it set up:
