Yes I agree, Luis your English is excellent. However if I were you, I would 
just say whatever you want and if anyone complains just pull your "Sorry 
English isn't my first language" card.  ;-)

The thing I've been thinking about with all this "grammar" discussion is
how well Luis communicates in English, that not being his primary
language. My only Spanish is, "Me espanol es muy malo..." SUPER job

Technically speaking in plurals about a singular object (or is it
subject, now I forget) is not the grammatically correct answer, though
it is somewhat common.
Oneself would be appropriate.

We already use the QSYCHGPW API so the user can change the password by

himself (or herself... Not being a native English speaker all this PC 
way of writing sometimes drive me nuts. Maybe I'll just use "it" when 
talking about a user
