     Subject: zebra label printers

Have app using old Zebra DA402 label printers (no longer in production).
All conect to Jet Direct boxes and are seen as *lan printers.
Zebra dealer has suggested Zebra 2844 as a replacement.
Will my RPG generated spooled file with escape codes in output specs be
     compatible?
The code and labels are very simple.
I look at Zebra docs can't seem to find anything comparing generations &
     compatibility.
