SUNIQUE

If your target file is defined as having lots of members like
ME ME1 ME2 ME3 ME4 ME5 ME6 ME7 ME8 ME9 ME10 and so on
then when you send ANOTHER input to the same ME it goes into the next available member of that file.

Warning: while logicals can address multiple members, there is an upper limit on how many members of the same physical can be in one logical

I am NOT an expert on this stuff, I have just been shown a few things.

Hi folks, hopefully I'm in the right area for this post.

I'm downloading multiple files from an FTP site. The file names are unique to each download. I'd like to take the multiple files, create the first one and append each file after that to the newly created file. All on the fly in an ftp script, written in a txt document that's used by a CL.

Basically, take multiple files ftp'd and consolidate them into one.

I hope this makes sense. Please hollar out any options/ideas.

Thanks,
Ray
