There is no trick to do it, but back in the olden days you could configure
the FSIOP as an ethernet line

When creating the the NWSD you need to use the *BASE option.

Then you can create the ethernet line by specifying the nwsd.

You must have "Integration Services for FSIOP " licensed program loaded



I think you might want to look for a 2617 or a 2810.  They are SPD ethernet
cards that require one slot.
