Hi,

We got this little problem that is starting to spread all over our
systems. We've been using RTVDTAARA with a DDMDTAARA to retreive the
target system's verison info (VxRxMx).

But the last two months, we keep getting an error saying that RTVDTAARA
detected multiple threads and cannot complete becasue of that.

Here's what IBM has to say aobut RTVDTAARA using a DDMDTAARA:

This command is conditionally threadsafe. The following restrictions
apply:
Retrieving DDM data areas in a job that allows multiple threads is not
threadsafe.
Retrieving DDM data areas will fail when more than one thread is active
in a job.

But the thing is we don't use multiple threads. More than that, our
users are configured with keyword ALWMLTTHD(*NO) but with
MAXTHD(*NOMAX).

Now when we get this error (CPF180B), we can see that there are three
threads. The first one is the main thread which is normal. But the
other two are *system threads that have the same call stack:

LE_Create_Thread2__FP12crtth_parm_t (QLECRTTH)
DbopThreadMain__FP14DbopThreadParm (QQQOOO...)

Could anyone explain to me where those threads come from and how we can
avoid them?

Thanks!
