should have been discussed beforehand.

Getting past that...

Will they let you use your own tapes for that tape unit or are they 
expecting you to use some custom backup software, like a Tivoli solution? 
If so, does that solution have a Client for the i5?   I don't think Tivoli 
does.  If you can use your own tapes, then you need to find out what this 
tape drive is, and if that is supported.

That CPU unit is often called the system unit, or the CEC, pronounced 
"keck".  That "disk drive unit" should also support several cards in the 
back and may be called an expansion unit.  What model of expansion unit is 
it?  A common model is 0595.  Not to be confused with a 595 big frigging 
i5.
Rack mounted, or stand alone?
