I really think it's not a big boost maybe even a performance hit to
increase the max job message queue size from 16 to 64...but in reality
the effect will most likely be almost invisible..(what's a few
milliseconds???)

Unless you are routinely exceeding the size of the job message queue, I
think that this is a fine setting.

However the system value that should be changed in this area is
QJOBMSGQFL.
The IBM supplied default of *NOWRAP is bad news.  I like the setting
*PRTWRAP better.

I was reviewing my system values in preparation for a DR test.  Our
QJOBMSGQMX is currently set to 16.  We are on V5R4.  Does anyone have
any
suggestions on setting this?
