Yes you can purchase an MES from IBM to run this guy up to 2400 CPW. With this machine there is actually a small chip installed in the machine to release the remaining 1400 cpw for your use. Your bidniss partner should be readily able to reveal to you of the relative quantity of currency required to obtain the aforementioned hardware bits.

FYI on Power5+ machines there is no hardware involved in the upgrade, only special software keys as long as your arm!
