How to map a network drive.

Lately it seems I am getting nothing but simple questions that I can't
answer. I looked through the archives but couldn't find anything that I
understood.

I am connecting to a System i over the Internet with vpn. I would like
to map a drive to the ifs. I've tried "Map a network drive" with MS
Explore -> Tools -> Map a network drive and couldn't make it work. I
tried Ops Navigator and couldn't find a way to map a drive.

Of course this is simple but I can't figure it out.
