I am experimenting with the BIRT reporting module from Eclipse. Looks great
so far.

I have a big performance problem when I try to define a Data Set on an
iSeries.

Here is the class and URL I'm using for my Data Source.

Driver class: com.ibm.as400.access.AS400JDBCDriver ( v5.0)
Database URL: jdbc:as400://sysname

That works ok. However, when I go to define a new Data Source, it takes a
long time to come up to the Query dialog. It looks like it reads all the
schemas and tables (libraries and files) so that I can pick and choose what
I need for my query.

Is there a way to specify the libraries to process when I define my Data
Source?

I tried using
"jdbc:as400://system;naming=system;libraries=library1;library2;library3" for
the Database URL on my Data Source, but that didn't make a difference.

Thanks in advance for any ideas or assistance!

Richard
