The Fax product has been around for a long time. I've used it in severalclients, but ages ago.I think the issue here is all about the hardware. Every new generation ofhardware seemsto be a change in modem hardware, with no need to change the software. I cansee IBM not enhancing the product, but not dropping it. Maybe rolling itinto some of the other "print" products? Some industries, like constructionand their suppliers, still live and die by the fax machine...

What if it turns out that our 570 hardware choices necessitated droppingIBM's fax product? Still not an excuse for what the BP did... This has happened every timean
