Re: Printing a PDF using QSPL?

At present we use version 8.53.
You can build from sources with gcc or VAc++; easier, you can directly untar AIX binaries that can be downloaded from UCLA.
If you print Pdf you should also install the font library and make a symbolic link to Type1. 

Then set some environment variables like
GS_FONTPATH = '/QopenSys/usr/local/share/ghostscript/fonts/' 
GS_LIB= '/QopenSys/usr/local/share/ghostscript/8.53/lib/'
We print with batch jobs unattended thousands of pdf a day to Lexmark, HP and Ibm printers (AFP, IPDS or simple HP laserjet) and we never had problems. Just check the margins in the printer configuration.
