Does anyone know of a way to send a PDF document from the IFS 

directly 

to a non IPDS/AFP network attached laser printer (Lexmark/HP/IBM/etc)

If you set your iseries printers as shareable with PC clients, they 

should 

be able to retrieve the PDF, and print them.  I've never tried to print 

a 

PDF file programatically from the System i.

I just reviewed the Introduction and Planning Guide for Infoprint Server 
for iSeries (G544–5774.
It shows using Host Print Transform function to translate ASCII streams, 
including PDF files, and sending them to non IPDS printers. Are you 
creating PDF files with another product?
