Often when you download a HMC update directly to the HMC you may get a 
window that says "Working".  You will see two lines about the download 
starting.  You may see a third line about Kerberos rejection.  Now, if it 
seems like it is "stuck" to you I found the following little trick whilst 
on the phone with support line.
On the blue background of the HMC, right click and select Terminals - 
rshterm.  From there you can do a 
dir /dump/hsc_install.images/*
You should see the fix you ordered here.  If you up arrow (like F9 on an 
i5 command line) and reenter the command the size should change.  That's 
your indication that the file is still downloading.
Now, there may still be a little lag between the last bytes are downloaded 
and the "Working" screen starts expanding it.  So don't panic.
