Most people have an older version of a Wintel box sitting around. Heck, use this as a nice excuse to get yourself that souped up processor and take your old PC and use for Lan Console.

Agree with Rob. I have Ops Console and it absolutely is the nuts. I'm a 1-person shop and do RCLSTG, IPLs to apply PTFs, etc from home. You CANNOT do that with either twinax or thin console. Thin console is a solution in search of a problem. IMO, the only reason it exists is Neoware was able to talk IBM into doing it because IBM no longer makes twinax.

And I have 10 Neoware thin clients that I love so it isn't like I have a beef with Neoware.
