It looks like you can get fancy with this prompting stuff.  I'll have to
experiment to see if I can refine things to secure things a bit more.
While I do trust this one person, she learned CPYSPLF from another 
person,
so ultimately it could end up with somebody who I don't trust so much.

Years ago I did something similar, but I created a CL program that did 
WRKSPLF *USER to a printer file, did CPYSPLF to a file, and captured that 
users spool files. The program then called an RPG program with a subfile, 
to display that user's spool files, and allowed them to select a report 
from that display. It did then did the CPYSPLF of the selected report(s)to 
a file for import to EXCEL. All of this to preserve security, but allow 
users to transfer their reports to EXCEL. 

Now, I'm sure the same selection of spool files could be done with APIs.
