USEOPTBLK

Still researching ways to improve our backup performance and came across
something strange to me.  At the IBM Info Center, under the SAVSYS section,
it has a special note after the USEOPTBLK section that states the following:
"Note: Not all files will be saved with optimum block size."  Can anyone
elaborate on what this actually means?  Also, this special note does note
appear in the SAVLIB section.
