Hi,

it looks like the ethernet line on my iseries is not compatible with the APPC
controller defined on my ibm 5494 controller. When i vary on my appc ctl, i'm
getting the following message:

A controller running over a protocol other than TCP/IP is not compatible with
this hardware.

Recovery: Use the Work with Controller Descriptions (WRKCTLD) command
to change the switched line list parameter (SWTLINLST) to use a
 compatible line.

I changed SWTLINLST parm but i still have the same problem.

**I'm using the same controller on another iseries, and it's working fine.

Thanks.
