RE: Count of objects in a library.

I don't know of a command but you can get a list of all objects in a
library based on object type and attributes.
For example you could type 
STRPDM
Take Option 2
Enter the library name
Leave the name as *ALL
Then select *PGM (For RPGLE and CLLE programs)
And then select either RPGLE or CLLE as the attributes. 
This will show all objects in the library that meet the selection
criteria.

DSPLIB will also show the total number of objects in a library
