I found data queues useful also for handling subfile processing, using tricks posted by (I think it was) Kevin Vandever. He showed a use for keyed data queues for saving the subfile selections and changes made by users while they do position-to's and pageups and downs to their heart's content, and then just processing them all at once when they press that Enter.

I think they might be a good technique for passing big such selection lists to a submitted job to bypass the idiosyncrosies of SBMJOB.
