Sounds like MAILTOOL would be perfect for you, especially with the add
on.

The whole package is 500 bucks and you won't have to set any of your
Iseries SMTP or TCP/IP stuff up. Like I said, your company would spend
that much to pay for your programming time for a day and a half, right ?

We've done it with SNDDST, and we've done it with QtmmSendMail, and we
finally bought MAILTOOL because we couldn't get attachments to work the
way we wanted. If we had just bought MAILTOOL sooner, we would have
saved thousands of dollars in wasted programming time.

You can use it on the fly from a command line, or use it from within
your CL program. We use it from RPG programs using QCMDEXC.

Oh, and you can try it for free (30 days if I recall correctly).

|We have no interest in using the AS400 as our mail server. This will

|be the only message that it will ever send. We are trying to
accommodate a
|SOX request that our AS400 email our admin group stating the a CL file
