Marvin:

DDM can be somewhat controlled through an exit program on your production 
system. Start by reviewing CHGNETA DDMACC() parameter and reviewing 
documentation for the DDM exit program. Documentation can be found in the 
Distributed Data Management manuals.

administration/maintenance interfaces. Two methods are available to control DDM 
access in order to allow reading PROD from DEV but not allowing any updates 
from that remote site.
