dropping of i5/os as a strategic platform.
Is this your company's interpretation or an actual announcement?

Our last V5R3 box would have been upgraded already if it wasn't for IBM's
dropping of i5/os as a strategic platform. We have to migrate our IBM
applications off of i5/os before we can upgrade it to V5R4.

I asked a similar question whether v5r4 ready for production. No
responses.
So I'll ask again in this way. How many are at v5r4 now (and how smooth is
it)
or have plans to upgrade soon? Have 2 customers who want to do it at end
of May.
