Thanks Walden.  No intention to do that at all.  

Reason for the questions:
1) Just try to gain some knowledge on ip protocol.  

2) I do some socket programming but do not do it in a regular basis
enough to ever put me in advance level.  ==> Every bit of info from this
list helps.  

3) I'm not in charge of network ==> never have a chance to know how that
is done.  If I ask our network guy, he's first question would probably
"Why would you want to know that?".

OK, I'll take this one.... I believe the answer to your question is no,
you can't do it. 

However, Why, Why, WHY would you ever put a server outside the firewall?
You understand you're basically asking what the best way to hold on to a
747 wing at takeoff with bare hands so you don't fall off is, right? It
might be possible, but no one would ever try.
