Re: Slow AS400 performance

Just to add for the cache battery checking.  Have a look at WRKDSKSTS and 
whack the F-11 key.

If you are seeing DEGRADED there then you have the battery 
problem(likely).

Call IBM(if under hdw maint.) or go to batteries plus for a replacement.
