Consider volunteering to lead a half-hour course on this feature for your peers. Don't forget to lead off with some persuasive reasons why this new feature is better than the old way, using code examples. Show them why, then how. Have a short Q & A at the end (expect to answer some objections to the entire technique here, unless those types don't come at all). Even in a tough room, I'll bet you get a few converts.
