So far, this isn't anything I don't know. As to the rest, 1. This isn't a Navigator shop.2. Pulling out the mail router name is a trivial enough exercise from CHGSMTPA. But with no mail router at all, how in the @#%$#$! is the outgoing message going to find its way to its first hop, much less all the way to its intended recipient? (For that matter, I've been poring over the Microsloth Exchange System Manager, trying to find out how IT gets email out into the rest of the world, without much success. 3. That still doesn't explain the bizarre bounce message that comes out when our JavaMail application tries to send to an outside address. Why would the bounce message be purportedly coming FROM the origin point TO the mail server it's trying to route through?
