As to using PSP and FTP in batch... This for those that need to download encrypted files (using PSP)
I'm trying to follow this thread, but I'm having a hard time figuring out what PSP is. I've done some searches, but of course I get things like "Playstation Portable". Can someone please clue me in to what PSP is?
5. Create some REXX EXECS (or whatever) and run them via the IBM scheduler or whatever scheduler you have, to FTP the encrypted files to your site and run the file into the IFS, decrypt the file(s), move them to the regular flat-file AS/400 file structure, if you wish
REXX EXECS? Do you mean REXEC? (R=Remote EXEC=Execute, has nothing at all to do with REXX). I'm confused, if everything is running on the iSeries, why do you need to do a remote exec?
