Never mind all. I have figured it out or got lucky. Either way, it's
working.

Subject: SQL question

I have built a file using query where I take the current date and subtract x
3 of days to get a date. I then convert that date using the CHARDATE
function in query. The I strip out the year and concatenate it like '20'||yy
to get something like 2006. I am trying to create a view off of this file
but when I open the file in OPS NAV, the 2006 shows as hex or some animal.
I'm nor sure why ti would have trouble handling the character representation
of 2006. All other character fields are fine
