You could use Scott Klement's FTPAPI in an RPG program. Takes a little work,
but the examples given are fairly straightforward. You could get a current
timestamp with %TIME, for example, and rename the file as its downloaded
(one of the examples Scott has is simulating an MGET by retrieving a catalog
of the files on the remote server into an array - I have my program renaming
them on the fly as they are downloaded).

Subject: Unique files with FTP

What's your best way of creating unique files (or members) with FTP-files
sent from Windows?
Way back you could use sunique, but by some reason this is no longer
supported.
I've tried sunique with an i5 as a client and it works like a charm.

Any hints??

/Joakim
