Not exactly what you are asking for but...

We're in the process of setting up a Cybernetics HSTC (High speed tape
cache) RAID virtual tape subsystem.

I've got SCSI connections from both of my LPARs going to the HSTC and
our network guys will have an iSCSI connection to the HSTC.  The
physical tape will be an Dell branded SDLT library we already owned.

If I recall correctly, the HSTC can be configure with fiber instead of
iSCSI/SCSI but I'm not sure.

Lastly, I know that GST or somebody offered a FC based virtual tape
system.
