PDFTK, the PDF Toolkit - http://www.accesspdf.com/pdftk/ is a
multi-platform tool (not iSeries though) for doing stuff like this. It
is based on the free iText -  http://www.lowagie.com/iText/ - java
libaries for doing pretty much anything with PDFs. Plus with a name
like iText it should work fine on an iSeries ;)
