Sorry about the red but CC01 is the only value that will change. It's the
value element of the INCCHAR field. Simon said it's not possible.

Hi, does anyone have copies of a pgm that I could use that would allow me
to pass the INCHAR variable so that I could run the cpyf command in a
certain way?

An example of the command is;

CPYF FROMFILE(fromlib/file1) TOFILE(tolib/file1) MBROPT(*REPLACE)
INCCHAR(*RCD 1 *EQ 'CC01')

The item in red is the only thing that will change. I want a command to
prompt and allow a change to just the part of INCCHAR which contains the
VALUE.

Does anyone have some code examples that I can use?

Thanks, Frank
