Our office services group just installed a large printer/scanner/copier
the other day with a large auxiliary paper tray, which the unit calls
Tray 5. I am now trying to get our iSeries (520, V5R3) to use Tray 5 as
the default. I set the unit up as an IP remote writer, and it always
pulls from Tray 2. If you have a held spool file, you can change the
source drawer to 5 and it works, but we want everything going to 5 by
default. From the IBM web site, it looks like I need a workstation
customizing object to do this. I created one and changed the drawers to
what I thought was the hex for tray 5. The entry looks like:

:DWRSLT
DRAWER=DRAWER2
DATA = '1B266C2538' X.

I changed all of the Drawer entries to this same data value. However,
after attaching this object to the OUTQ, it had no effect. Am I on the
right track here, or is there an easier way to get this done? I know
just enough about iSeries printing to get myself into trouble. Thanks
for your help.
