Set default path in QSH and QP2TERM -- MIDRANGE-L

Can anyone point me to the correct environment variable to set the default 
path for QSH and QP2TERM?

The portable utilities program that installs SSH (5733-SC1)  does not set 
the path in QSH so it will work.  I was hoping to avoid setting up a 
.profile or /etc/profile structure if I could.
