Larry -

We created a user ASP for audit journal receivers and keep as many online as
there is room for (on average, 90 days...) We delete down to 60 days when we
run out of room in the ASP.

We also save the journal receivers to tape and keep the tapes for 1 year.

Subject: Security Audit Journals

Folks: How long are you retaining your security audit journal receivers? I
am retaining 3 months, and I'm not sure if this is the norm or best
practice. I am in the midst of creating our policy, and I am curious to
others view on this.

Thanks, Larry
