This weekend was EOM so I been a bit out of touch, so sorry if I am duplicating some other answer. We also had stuff down, but it turned out not to be VPN but our T1 line, which PC guy showed me how to verify using PING..

We solved a FONT problem on one printer by adjusting the width of the form ... apparently the PC printer was second guessing the host instructions, saying "I not have room for all this stuff" so FONT came from what would fit, and how much was being sent, so we adjusted how much printing sideways, to force the math.

Guy,

If you are using an external print file abandon the idea of CPI. Check
the DDS reference for the POSITION keyword and the FONT keyword.

I was trying to hunt an example up, but my vpn connection to the machine
is down. I'll see if I can hunt one up after Monday.

Rich
