By default, PC5250 printing sessions enable Host Print Transform so that the 
data stream received by the printer is actually created by the iSeries host and 
then passed through the PC transparently.

When you get the reduced version of output, that is caused by Computer Output 
Reduction (COR) being invoked. It usually means your 80 column report is using 
the system default MPP (132 columns) and then executing a line feed after 80 
columns to create the desired format. This will cause the COR algorithm to be 
invoked (provide format that is 70% of full size) because the system believes 
the page is green/grey bar sized. You can resolve this issue by either changing 
the MPP to 80 or setting the degree of page rotation parameter to 0 (zero) 
instead of *AUTO.

If you would like your reports to be formatted by your Windows PC printer 
driver and not the iSeries host, you need to uncheck the box in the PC5250 
printer session named something like "Transform Print Data to ASCII on AS/400". 

The i5/OS - OS/400 EBCDIC data would then be transferred natively from the 
iSeries to the PC running iSeries Access. If you also make sure that you do not 
select the Use PDT checkbox, iSeries Access will convert your EBCDIC data into 
a Windows format known as GDI on the PC running iSeries Access. The GDI format 
is the generic input format required by Windows print drivers.
