Is that the same as IXS (server)?

Subject: Re: 'On order only' PTFs

A couple of weeks ago something in our iSeries attached xSeries failed,
causing the IXA to disappear. Then our 520 crashed and a 2844 was
replaced. Both problems were fixed by replacing hardware, but WRKPRB had
a few entries, especially about the missing xSeries, that I submitted.
At about the same time the most recent CUME for v5r3 was released.

A couple of the problems showed ANSWERED instead of SENT (WRKPRB status
column). WRKPRB had downloaded about six PTF's (that were also part of
the new CUME) itself. I guessed that the 'intelligence' for doing that
was done by whatever it is at IBM's end that answers WRKPRB submissions.
And I don't think the PTF's were in any way responsible for fixing the
problem we had.
