Yesterday was on a 570 to bump it over 4TB of disk space.  With remote 
users in several states.  But, yeah, we've done it to the 520 also.

    Select by model and expansion unit

The hardest thing was getting the format right for the section "Install 
the Disk Drive", item 1 "Record the physical location where the new drive 
will be installed".  Just remember not to finish pushing the drive in 
until you get it right and it starts flashing the little light.

iSeries Navigator Management Central has a nice graphical, that if it 
worked, it would make this a lot easier, but I suspect that they too have 
a tough time formatting that string right.

If your boss still shudders any competent CE should be able to do this for 
you for a couple of hundred bucks.
