Many, many years ago a head hunter was trying to get me to take a job at a
MS data center on AS/400 (or was it Sys/38).  I didn't want to move to the
West coast.

When M$ was starting up, they needed scalable computers to run their stuff.
They paid a lot of money to have it written.  There was a rumor about 5 or
6 years ago that they attempted to move their applications to several
hundred NT servers, and it failed and they moved back.
