Depending on the vintage of the hardware and the release of the software
there are various things that you can do.

I'm reticent to describe exactly what I did, because if you did it, you
might hurt yourself badly.

Essentially I patched the system value (you know, I know something about
those things).  That method is only good until the next IPL.

OK Al,  I'll bite...

How do you change a system's serial number?  I thought  that was an
"indelible" part of the hardware.

Or perhaps it is one of those "I could tell ya but I'd have to kill ya"
kind of questions.......
