Yes.
It also keeps the profile usable for profile swaps - though as others
have noted there still may be a goofy requirement for QUSER to have a
password (any password) in order for it to be used.

We have had QUSER with password *NONE since 1997 based on some recommendation for initial security setup for TCP/IP (when our LAN was one PC and the AS/400!)
