phone line

We have a model 170 AS/400 @ V5R1 with some potential applications that do not need a high speed full service expensive price phone line.

Can you post a question to you 400 group to see if anyone has a phone company that provides a line for direct access at a low cost. I need to find a communication line of 128k for remote file transfer other than a T1,ISDN,DSL,etc..... We need a basic 4 wire connection that's always on if possible.
