Express is not part of PPA. Standard and ND is. Express is free with
i5/OS. Call back whomever you spoke to at IBM and tell them to read
their own documentation and to stop misinforming the masses.

IBM WebSphere Application Server - Express V6.0 for OS/400 is included
with i5/OS V5R3 at no additional charge, and clients may deploy it to
all i5/OS processors on the target iSeries server. A copy of "IBM
WebSphere Application Server - Express" should already be included in
the package when clients ordered their i5/OS V5R3 product. However, if
the product is not included for any reason, clients can obtain a copy of
IBM WebSphere Application Server - Express by ordering product 5722-WE2
"IBM Web Enablement for i5/OS" (5722-WE2).

Subject: RE: Websphere Application Server Licence

I just got off the phone with IBM. Apparently, the Websphere 6.0
Express is part of some program called "Passport Advantage". And of
course it means that we'd have to purchase another license to use it.

It's rather disappointing, seeing how Windows has it built in for free.

Brian.
